Cam Gold Minerals was founded in Douala, Cameroon in 2012 by a small group of gemologists, assayers and export specialists who had spent their careers watching African gold and gemstones move through too many hands before reaching their end buyer — losing value, traceability and ethics at every step.

We set out to build the shortest possible bridge between licensed artisanal cooperatives and the refineries, jewellers and industrial buyers who actually need their material. Today we operate across Cameroon, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana, the DRC and the Central African Republic, with a head office in Douala and partner representatives in Antwerp, Dubai and Hong Kong.

Every gram of gold and every carat of diamond we sell is traceable to a licensed cooperative, independently assayed, and shipped under bonded chain of custody. Nothing leaves our office without paperwork strong enough for the most conservative compliance team in the world.
